Food Truth is a product of Ajes Global Inc., a California C Corporation (referred to in these Terms as "Food Truth," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of foodtruth.app and any related applications, services, content, and features (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you are entering into a legal agreement with Ajes Global Inc.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Food Truth. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may not access or use Food Truth.
Food Truth is currently intended for users located in the United States. While the Service may be technically accessible from other countries, we do not actively market to or support users outside the US, and we make no representations that the Service is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions.
Food Truth is an educational tool that helps users understand food ingredient labels. The Service allows you to scan or enter food ingredient lists and view information about chemical additives, their regulatory status in various countries, and potential health considerations.

Food Truth currently operates as a web application accessible through standard web browsers. You do not need to create an account to use the Service. Certain information such as your scan count and preferences are stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
Food Truth offers a paid tier called "Founding Member" which provides lifetime access to the Service at a one time price. The following terms apply to Founding Member purchases:
Lifetime access means access for the duration that Food Truth remains an actively operated product. As long as Food Truth continues to exist as a product offered by Ajes Global Inc., Founding Members will retain access without additional payment.
We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at our sole discretion. If we decide to discontinue Food Truth, we will provide Founding Members with at least 90 days of advance notice via the Service or through other reasonable means. Upon discontinuation, lifetime access will terminate.
Lifetime access does not guarantee:
Founding Member memberships are limited to the first 500 qualifying purchasers. Once this limit is reached, the Founding Member offer will no longer be available, and future users will be directed to alternative subscription options as they become available.
All payments for Food Truth products are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy practices in addition to these Terms.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary, we offer a 7 day no questions asked refund window on all paid purchases. After the 7 day window, all sales are generally final, subject to exceptions described in the Refund Policy.
From time to time we may offer promotional codes, discount codes, or unlock codes. These codes are subject to the following rules:

Violation of any of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service.
The Service and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The underlying facts we present are consistent with information that can be independently verified by consulting primary sources.

Food Truth is an educational tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations. We do not represent that our information is exhaustive, up to date at all times, or a substitute for consulting these primary sources directly.
As Food Truth grows and matures, we plan to publish a more detailed methodology and sources document. Until that document is available, users should understand that Food Truth presents general information about food chemicals based on publicly documented knowledge, not a citation database with specific references for every data point.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information about food chemicals, but we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or free from errors. Food formulations change. Regulatory decisions change. Scientific understanding evolves.

Termination of your access does not entitle you to a refund except as specifically provided in our Refund Policy.
You may stop using Food Truth at any time. No cancellation is required since Food Truth does not maintain user accounts.
Food Truth is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, accuracy, reliability, and availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ajes Global Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Food Truth, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Food Truth is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the total amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Food Truth will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Food Truth must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post the updated Terms on our website. Material changes will take effect 30 days after they are posted, unless they address legal or regulatory requirements, in which case they may take effect immediately.
Your continued use of Food Truth after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or collect email addresses for the Service, we cannot directly notify users of changes. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for updates.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ajes Global Inc. regarding your use of Food Truth, and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings.
